I have a 1989 250r and i was riding it and i was on lime rock i was turning onto another road and i hit the throttle and spun it around and it rolled on its side. Now it was barelly even rolling when it rolled on the side so it didnt hit very hard but now the handle bars are cocked to the left a little bit when the wheels are straight. Does this mean i bent the steering shaft? because i cant see anything in the manual about it and i dont know what to do please help me!

It may have bent the tierod ends but I doubt the shaft. You should be able to correct it.

Turn the bars straight and look at the arm or plate that somes off of the shaft and see where it lines up on the shaft, If it is centered see if one wheel is toed out causing the pull and counter steer problem. It may just need readjusting. If the bars are straight and the plate in the shaft is bent to one side you willl have to straighten it out.\
A bent main shaft will usually cause the bars to be angled from horiziontal not turned to one side.

YEA. A COMPRESSION TEST IS THE BEST WAY TO CHECK FOR BAD OR WEAK RINGS. I WOULD ONLY WORRY ABOUT IT IF YOU ARE HAVING A PROBLEM WITH STARTING OR ACCELERATION THOUGH.
