I'm trying to figure out what the best shocks would be on the rear of my LR 4 bar and RR swingarm (using a shorty panhard, and AFCO spring pullbar). I usually use 4 valving shocks on both rears. I've never used a 3 valving shock on the right rear, but I'm having trouble with side bite in the corners when the track gets really slick and think that might help get the car over quicker. The LR is a little confusing. I've heard of people using a 3 compression and 5 extension on the left rear. Sounds like it should load the LR quicker coming off the corner. With my set-up, the rear of the car raises on acceleration. So, would I want the extension to be softer to raise faster? That would also help transfer weight to the RR in the corners. Then would I want a stiffer valving on compression to keep the RR loading entering the corner? This would be a 5 compression and 3 extension, exactly opposite of what I've heard about. What experiences have you guys had? Hi Miho!

I tried a 35 on the left rear at a daytime race (very dry slick) it made our car push right off the end of the track.
