has anyone ever tried this?........using the front half of leaf springs........sawed off right behind the mounting pad on the rearend and using a coil over shock and spring with a panhard bar to locate the housing.

i've been wanting to try this for a couple of years and was wondering if anyone else has tried it and how it worked.

anyone have any input?

i have been running this setup for 4 years now, and i really like it. it has all the advantages of leafs without all of the hassle, you are able to adjust your roll center easily. i usually run a j bar, but i would go to a rear pahnard bar for a dryslick setup. good luck, you will like it.
