So what was decided on the three link with the solid bars? Does it work like a locked 4 link? Also jammin, are you saying take torque link and third shock off the top of the rear end, and run a solid bar up to the chassis?

I am not sure, because on a dry slick track, you may need the sponge of that spring....it is still a toss-up. I think it might be good on a tacky track, but dry slick, still wondering...

Jammin, what about the top bar, does it run up to the chassis or down from the rear-end?

most cars with the solid top bar are running it about level to 5 deg uphill, this is on the larson and other cars in my area that have/or still run them. I myself have tryed it and found out it tends to work best on tacky tracks and when on very dry slick stuff it doesnt have enough cushion on the tires to keep them from spinning.

I agree with Rich here.....the only thing that I can think that might work would be be adding a ton of cross to the car on a dry slick track, but then you are defeating the purpose of the suspension.....so.....I have not made my mind up on it.
