going to try running mccrearys on the rear for the first time ever...i know they are smaller in circumference so im going to adjust for that, was wondering if i can run the same air pressure as i do on the hoosiers..anything else i should expect? thanx..

expect to have a LOOSE car. it'll have less sidebite and will have less forward bite....increase rear percent and and a little LR to car.

If I had a choice I would run Hoosiers, not even a close choice. They run some hotter but get a better grip. They also clean out better when on a tacky track. The Hoosiers also wear longer. The gearing is a little different and you do not want to spin the Hoosiers too much or they will build up heat and deteriorate. Unfortunately most places you have no choice.

We have to run the Mccreary American racers, and they are an ok tire but I ran a set of Hoosiers at an open comp show and it is by far a much better tire I couldnt believe the difference in forward bite. My opinion stay with the Hoosiers!
