We are running a 2001 DW8 3 link with both rear springs in front of the rear end. RF 750, LF 650, RR 175, and LR 225. Running around 60% rear with out the driver, 50% cross, 52% left. We usually run around 35-55 lbs. of left rear bite. Usually run a biscuit bar, have tried sping bars and can't really tell the difference. The biscuit bar is about 1 inch left of center. The trailing arms are both currently being run at 15 degrees up. We have tried running the left up and the right down, but really didn't notice a big difference. We run a short panhard bar at one track and a jbar at another. The short panhard bar is run at a track that is really smooth and dry, It is a long half mile. The jbar is run at a track that is usually a bit rough and dry. It is a short half mile track. The car is really fast through the corner but wants to spin off of the corner. It seems like what we gain in the corner we lose coming off. We really don't get alot of shock travel on the right rear (not even half the shaft). Running 93 on the left and a 93 lp on the right. The left rear seems to lift, not as much now that we have both trailing arms at 15 degrees. When we had the left arm up and the right arm down the driver thought the car was rolling over to far, but we didn't have any more shock travel. I think this was just the left rear picking up even more.
We usually run about a half inch of stagger on the rear.
I think we are real close, we are just missning the forward bite off of the corner.

Any help will be appreciated.

Up the cross to about 51 percent,give it a try and see if it helps,a lot of cars now are running 52-53 percent.Everything else sounds real close except for the low cross.Try running the left trailing arm up and the right level.

I had the same problem this is what i did but my car weighs 2550 with no lead so it is a little heavy. lf 800 rf 750 lr 225 in front of rearend rr 200 behind rear end. LR link all the way up rr link 7degrees up pull bar solid bar 20degrees down. J bar 10 degrees down measured on the bar 3rd hole on frame 2nd hole on rearend. moving this down 1 hole on both sides caused the car to push really bad after 3 laps couldnt hardly get it to go around the corner not even when i tried to throw it in. Pull bar and front springs made the biggest difference hope this gives you something to try

A car that heavy might like heavier springs,but he is really close on springs for a dw8,just stick some more cross in and it will help,also try the trailing arm set up like I mentioned before.Jacking a little more cross in is easier than going too stiff on front springs.mwmod34, it sounds like you are probably running a metric stub car to be that heavy on front springs.

agree with everything said..if nothing else works, might try a little taller gear...
