I am wandering what a solid pull bar would do on a 4bar LR, and z-link RR???? We are running a AFCO spring loaded pull bar now with a 1200 pound spring. I have been seeing some posts on here about solid bars, and would like an idea what to expect on this setup. We run on a big quarter mile dirt track, also a small tight corner quarter mile dirt tracks. Also would it be good to clamp the LR up.. or not???

Any info aprreciated.. THanks

if you got your bars workin good and hookin the car up then put that solid bar on put about 11-12 degrees of pinion angle in it and hold on because it's going to hook it up even more!!

Hey thanks.. you are saying about 11-12 degrees pinion angle.... what about the angle in the solid pull bar?? Right now it hooks up ok, if the car rolls over some on RR and gets on throttle to make LR tuck under. So, should we change any bar angles, LR weight, or not??? thanks

Just put the same angle in the solid bar that you are currently running the pullbar in. I never made any chassis changes after putting the solid bar on my car

i am currently running a four bar with a solid pull bar. we started out with it at about 20 deg but it would lift whole car straight up.i have recently flattened the bar out and it works great. i did go to a 90/10 because the car would set down very hard.

Is your mounting point on the rearend ahead or behind the center of the housing?
