I am moving up from Super Stock to a Mod for 2003. Hoffmans are fast around here, but I would like to travel some. Does anyone run a Hoffman on 1/4 or 1/2 mile. What type of suspension? Also, what about a Wayne Larson?

I dont know of many running Hoffmans around here there are a few though. It is a dirtworks copy with some minor changes so I think it would be a good chassis. Dirtworks are kickin azz around here. Hoffman used to work for Dirtworks then started his own shop.In fact at one time i think he was still building some parts for DW.

Stick with 2 links to start with they are easy to setup and adjust and are fast.

Like most chassis, some people like them and some don't. Because most people are sold on the chassis that they drive, I would talk to some of the people that no longer drive them and ask what they think. Scott Drake and Steve Muilenburg come to mind.

Good Luck!

I had a dirt works for three years and have had a Hoffman car for two. The Hoffman car would be my choice. As for the Larson car, you better plan on spending big dollars buying it and you better be prepared to spend some money on horsepower. I see very few average budgets able to make these cars work. Just an opinion. 33m
