I run a new dirtworks 3-link with a spring bar, 9" short bar and short trailing bars connected to the dirtworks pockets. Left side bar in top hole and Right side bar in middle hole. I had two diffrent people tell me that going down the straight away the left side tire was coming off the ground. The rear end dosent hit the underslung bars and it dosent feel like the car is loosing forward bite. Shock travel looks good and my lap times dont seem to be affected. Could this happen?

Are you sure they didn't mean the left front tire??

I don't think the left rear would come off unless the car is bouncing down the track.

I was asked the same question from my aunt, i run dirtworks 3 link with short panhard bar, when the car would hike up she thought it was pulling the LR off. i jacked the car up under the LF and explained how it was working.

Im sure they were talking about the left rear because I asked that question. The left front usally stays about 6-8" off the ground going down the straightaways but im lost as to the rear tire coming up. I took my rap shock off and the only thing I can think is maybe the rear tires are bouncing on the track. I would think this would only happen when braking but who knows.

I seriously doubt that this is happening. If it were, you would feel it and the car would be almost impossible to drive especially about the time that left rear came back down.

We ran a big two day race in Enid Oklahoma, and I seen the same thing happen to a couple of the guys running 4-links. They would stand up so high that it did look like the LR tire was actually coming off the ground, I dont know if it actually was or not, but it sure did look cool. It was some pretty big names like Baby Bone, and Kelly Shryock that were doing that.
