I am running a shorty bar on a DW-8, 4bar and z-link set up. I have the bar mounted 2 inches higher on frame, than the pinion mount. I raised it up some the other night, and it did not roll over on RR any. Was this the wrong direction??? In the past with a j-bar, by raising it on the frame it would roll more. SO,, is the shorty bars different?

The thing with the shorty bar is the more angle you put in it, The more lateral movement you are going to get. We run a shorty and if we put too much angle in it, First of all it is real erratic, and our suspention will start binding from too much lateral movement. If you wanted it to roll over more you should of lowered both sides the same amount. That would lower your roll center and make the car roll more. If the angle is not a big thing with you guys then I would of just lowered the pinion side. Just remember the center of your bar is where your roll center is the lower that point is the more it will roll the higher it is the less it will roll.
