I was told that the HOT chassis have a bolt on rear clip? is this true and if so how does it hold up.

NO, HOT chassis do not have a bolt on rear clip. I have a 99 model and it's welded just like all of the other manufacturers. As for the way that they rate, I looked long and hard before I bought mine and I finally settled on a HOT. I liked the fact that they are relatively simple to set up, very light, and fast on dry slick. I think everyone will have a different opinion, but for my money, HOT's the way to go. Just my two cents and ............See ya at the track!!

The new Hot chassis does have a bolt on rear clip it is also a four bar car with the torque arm mount or the pull bar mounts.

We are looking for a new chasis and I was wondering if Hot and Eagle have a web site for more info.

I would not go with a EAGLE chassis. All because the owner will take your n=money and not give you a car. I should know. I order a car from EAGLE last september under the sponser ship program he had. and here it is July and I still have not gotten a car out of him. So please don't pick a EAGLE or you would get your money taken from you. I have asked for my money back also and he will not return it. So please dont order a eagle chassis.

Not so sure what you mean 6x but i do know after talking with a few guys making plans for new chassis for next year that they liked their hot chasis but wanted something a little stronger. From what i have heard the hot cars dont hold u well if wrecked and if wrecked they tend to be junked because the damage is so far back in the car that it isnt worth it to fix.

6x if you are referring to why 93 started running his car in july it is not because of me i delivered it to him back in april and he didnt get it finished till july because he was waiting for sponsors to get him money and he was busy with work.

I have several cars out there but for reasons beyond my control the only one running now is the one of 93's besides my personal car.

I have an Eagle down in South Louisiana. We are first year racers in the modified division and I am still trying to adjust it to suit my drivers needs. The car aint bad, we just need to make it perform the way we need it to. Thanks for all the help in setting up the z-link swingarm to those of you that know who you are. The Eagles are not a throw away chassis like some others and are well built. Some folks have a problem getting their cars, I guess I got lucky.

The eagle is a good car the business practices are very bad and the sponsorship program is a joke. there are other cars out there just as good or better. nut3d your not the only one he is trying to ***** , i know another eagle buyer that made a trip to edcouch area to pick up his car after being told it was ready he drove 8 to 9 hrs to get it and it was not ready. after it was all said and done he still is owed 3 sets of skins, and 2 sets of bumpers. guys dont become a victim.

i live in wyoming, couple hours away from "93", i have just been down to where he lives and we all raced at our state races together..i was very anxious to see the custom performance car as i have talked on the forums here to rich a few times since last winter...i personally went to tom's place and looked the car over up close, as we have a bmod, and will be looking for a new chassis for next season...i can tell you first hand...very very nicely built car, we were very impressed...also the car seemed to handle very well on the track, so gotta hand it to ya rich...you do a swell job, and i hope to maybe get some more info from you...i do know one thing, we have an old leaf spring type car, and are looking forward to something a little newer...lol
