I've been softening my tires, b/c the track has become incredibly dry slick. We race the IMCA McCreary and they are usually high 50's on the durometer. We treat them for a week, and they usually are in the mid 40's by Sat night. But how soft is too soft? Will I know when they start chunking out? Should I take them on down into the low 40's or mid 30's?
