We seem to have enough hp, and have the gear ratio right. However, we seem to push going in and are loose coming out. We've tried a few things, but can't seem to get faster in the corners. I hold my own, but can't seem to get around the big boys. We run a limited latemodel, basically a modified chassis. Any suggestions would be appreciated. Thanks!

There are alot of things that can cause that condition.
Without much info on the chassis and setting I would suggest a little more LR bite. This should loosen the car on entry and tighten it on exit.

a little more rear percent might do the job, but without any of your chassis setup info its hard to give a good answer. I noticed this was your first post, this forum has alot of guys that are smart and will help you out, dont be shy on giving out your spring rates and shocks, etc.

Fix the push going in and the loose condition will repair itself.
