all i can say is at our track you need about 58-61 % on the rear. it's 1/2 mile high bank dry slick son of a gun. 550+ horse on hoosier tires and you still can smoke 'em down the straight. 50% here and you'd get run right over.

Yeah, you need about 58% rear wieght to get good forward bite. At around 50%, you are really gonna spin those tires. 50% would be good on an asphualt mod though.

We usually run a dry-slick 1/4 mile and run 60%-62% rear. We run quite a few other tracks during the year and 58% is the least I think we have run. We seem to run less left side weight than most, 51%-52%.

I run at a 1/3 mile track that is usually "heavy" and I run 53% rear and 52% left.

60%-65% rear and 55% left side are good numbers. Works great with the proper sprng and shock combo.

50% will not work on a modified. You need at least 56-60% rear weight. If your weight isn't at least that you will not have any forward bite. You might not even make a lap.

I'd say 58% plus rear, but LR is all over the place. We have had a lot of success running from 110lbs+ to -40lbs. It depends on so many other things and driver preference.
