What difference does it make if one trailing arm is closer to the center of the axle on a three point? Example, RR mounted 2" bellow the axle and LR mounted 4" below the axle.

The difference is that at 4 inches below center line of axle you get the leverage of axle wrap wanting to roll up under the car the lower it is the more it acts as a lever to help plant the rear tires. you just don't get the same resistance at 2 inches. it pushes forward not up against, hope this helps.

should the distance from the top and bottom mounting points be the same distance from the center of the housing to even out the leverage?how low can a person go on the lower mounting holes from the center of the rear end?Is 6 inches to far?thanks
