Has anyone heard of a Diamond D IMCA racecar made in texas. I'm from new york and there is one for sale in my area but nobody runs that kind.If someone knows anything about them please let me know. Thanks red7240

That business was sold to someone in Iowa. I haven't heard much about them in a couple of years. Dave Siegart started the original business in the DFW area. He is currently running SUPR latemodels. His cars were quick during that time period. You would have to find out if the guy in Iowa is still in business for parts and support.

These aren't what is now known as the Larsen Chassis, is it?

No, the Larsen chassis is the design that was purchased from Paul Cook. These were the V-6 cars that won a bunch of big money specials with Paul White (USAC Silver Crown Champ), George White and Bo Rawdon driving for several years. Those cars are a real nice piece.

I am also from NewYork. Where do you run,and where did you see the car advertised?
I have heard of Diamond D's but didnt know of one being out our way.

Don't know if it is true, but I read on another message board that "Diamond Dave" is now with Hot Chassis.

we run fonda speedway,the car was not advertised heard about the car through a lawyer who took the car as payment,sits in his garage never been raced car looks brand new car is race ready motor and all. the chassis has a welded number in it 98-03 maybe it is a 1998?the car has a 4 speed standard trans. car has alot of trick stuff on it,it looks well made.the guy who has it is going to let us shake the car down in practice in april.I'll have to see if i can make it go, who knows, red.
