whats the trick to carrying the left front when the car is not clamped and the lr spring is behind the axle..is it springs, bar lengths or what?

I think for one its horsepower. Next is alot of roll in the car. I run a lift bar and its just the way the car works. Car set up as a 2 link with links set straight up from the center of the rear end. I dont know how effective it is to pull the left front, because it tends to upset the car when you get off the gas. Just my opinion. ltr spde

I know it looks cool, and there are times when I would like to pull the LF up, but the truth is, it is not a good thing in traffic. The only positive is that the car might be tight enough to run a different line than the prefered one. Just my obsevation. My simpleton thinking is, 4 tires on the ground would seemingly turn better than 3.

at the just ran east bay nats in tampa. several car were super fast by themselves and should have made the big $10,000 to win feature BUT didn't make the feature because they were junk in traffic. from the transition of getting off the gas at the end of the straight all the way through the apex of the corner, if they came down wrong and got out of shape they lost several positions. Once they get past the middle of the turns and get on the gas they are rocket ships. But we do have to turn left.

My theory is simple... You don't see Bloomquist or Moyer with 12 foot of air under the left front, so Greggie doesn't need it either.

Most have a hard time with four tires, let alone three.

I agree with most of the post here!

But if your determined to get the left front up, try this! Soften the RR until just before it bottoms, stiffen the LR until you only get about 1" of travel. The car will pull hard on throttle but make sure when the LF comes down your headed in the direction you want to be.
