Check out CUSTOM PERFORMANCE, Rich is a chassis builder that listens to what you want and offers a whole lot of information and tech help. I am currently gettin a new chassis from him. Also ask anyone on the Forum and they will tell you he builds a quailty chassis!!!

I agree with Tom Asmus, Rich's work is of extreme quality, and he builds YOU a car, not just a car that you take home and run. He will build it how you want it.

It really depends on where you are located and what ever is the closest to you because it just dosn't make sence to drive a long way to get a chassis and then if you bend it you have to go back and get a new front stub of if like you need a new bumper it just dosn't make sence to have it shiped and plus nonbrand name chassis are mostly cheaper and little guys will give you the same set up they use on there own car

I think it would take atleast 5 drivers and have them drive everything out there on different tracks to come up with that shootout answer. There are too many varibles to just say that one is the best. There are also a lot of chassis builders putting out quality stuff. I do believe that service should be a factor in selection.
Just my 2 cents.

My 2 cents, I personaly like the HOFFMAN chassis out of Oronogo,MO. Jerry is easy to work with and will spend the time to build the car the way u want it. A 2 link is a user friendly car. If u have any questions call Jerry at 417-673-7426.

I too have seen Big dog cars in wyoming (Rock Springs) But that particular car I seen I know the Driver and he is on awesome shoe. He has been in many brands of cars. Alot of what makes a good chassis is good tech help and support from that chassis builder!

A car with a good driver and a good chassis man will make any brand stand out. I'm sure that Custom Performance as well as all other brands, have an excellent car, But in this area I've seen one driver win consistently in three different brands with three totally different suspension.

What I'm saying is, get a chassis builder that you can trust, that will help in setup,
that has back-up parts, that will assist in repairs, and is not 10,000 miles away from home.

I,m not knocking Custom,Big Dawg,Harris,Jet or any others,,,just my opinion.

Thanks for listening.

My current car is a Speedway kit... An excellent IMCA car, but a little heavy foe open weight rule shows. It works great but its definitely not for the "store bought racer".
