What length should a pull bar be. Is it possible to have one that is to long that mounts up by the trans? Does the length make a big difference?

hey azrace, i think the idea with the pollbar is to have enough legnth but the most import is to keep it congruent witht he rear end and you want as much angle on the pollbar as you can with out it gettin bound or rubbing on anything, dont quote me on this, becuase im not 100% sure.

If your pull bar mounts by the transmission yoke it is too long for anything but a half mile track. About 36 inches long for a short track works good. The angle about 20-25 degrees is what you need and you just can't get that with the long pull bar. On a high speed momentum track the long bar with about 15 degrees works good. Good luck.
