I have to buy a new carb for my mod. Many say that Braswell is the best. Why, they are awfully expensive compared to Demon, Gearte, etc. What makes them better? Any suggestions for a carb to buy backed up with reasoning? Best buy for the money? I don't understand much about the carb and engine, it's not my department, yet I get to be the one that buys the new stuff so I need something that is pretty bulletproof, or at least consistant.

braswell has a good carb...but...I've had better luck,or should I say better driveability with a C&S billet aerosol carb. this carb seems very smooth on dry-slick,and makes more horsepower on the dyno. I happen to be starting my own business, therefore I need start up capital,so I have one of these awesome carbs for sale. I paid almost 1200.00 3 yrs ago for it....used it for 2 seasons, and im willing to sell for only 550.00......cant beat that!! e-mail me if interested

I've been running Braswells for years. Many of the modifications made by other carb manufacturers were originated by David Braswell. He knows his stuff. He helped design the Holley HP series carbs for Holley. I think they're worth the money.
