2,160?? Have you had any frame problems? Seems very light. I would think it would not hold up in an accident and maybe the frame flex would be high.

What kind of chassis is it?

Most weight savings isnt in the chassis itself, most bare chassis weight roughly the same. The weight savings comes from all the bolt on parts. My cars weight right at 2300 with a 200lbs driver and 32 gal of fuel. I have gotten one car down to the 2000 lbs range using alot of lightweight parts, but with most sanctions have a weight rule now so it seems pointless.

How much weight difference can you see by running a V6? The concept seems credible where the tracks get very slick and it's got to be good for increasing rear percent. What would be the downside?

RangeRover...there's a guy up here in western PA that has run Buick 3.8's for years. The car sounds awful, but when the track slicks off, he's tough to beat...flat footed all the way around the corners. Just a guess, I would say you would save about 75-80 pounds off the front with a 6. Our track requires a 2bbl carb, so I don't think he's really giving up any HP, definitely some low end TQ though.

Our Hot weights right at 2300 lbs with driver and full fuel. We usually add 50-60 lbs to rear when track gets dry.
