How many different sizes of 9" yolks are there? I have 2 of the smaller ones but the 5.83's I have in our current car has a larger yolk on it...not the same U-Joint. Anyone have any larger yolks to trade out or anything...got a new set of 5.43's without yolk....anyone?

You can use a Precision # 372 u-joint to convert the shaft from the small to the large u-joint. This particular joint is a cross joint that we use all the time.

Jammin, I assume your post is stating you need the long yoke with the wide width??
I have two or three.........I personally use the short narrow myself........I will trade all with you, I pay my shipping you pay yours............

If you currently have the short yoke with the wide joint I have about three of those yokes also.........I have about 3 of each style. I use the short yoke narrow joint.....If you care to trade send me a private message.
I can ship them to McAllen this weekend if you go........Or I will give you my toll free phone number in a private message, Just message me if you care to trade.....would sell for $15 each you pay shipping.

I misread your eairler post. Sorry. The early Ford cars(Galaxy's) and Ford pick-ups's(mid 60'S, to mid 70'S)ran the small joint.
The precision # is 369 and the spicer # is 153. Check the parts book at your local store and get the correct year.

Part number #348 is the crossover joint
that I use . I think it goes from the
narrow Ford to the regular GM. Not sure of
brand but it's in a yellow and blue box.

Jammin, Here is what I got for you.....4 yokes are the short ones, and wide joint.

If you need the long yoke with the wide joint I got two of those also.....One is perfect, the other is missing the tab for holding the cap of the joint.......that can get a little weld and a die grinder to fix, I've done that trick several times in my life and never had a problem......I could fix before I send, or you could fix yourself.........Or maybe you don't want a fixed yoke?

Check for a private message.
