I'm looking for some hood pins that are about 3/8 instead of 1/2. Does anyone know who might have some, I have checked all my catalogues and can't find any.

Go to your local hardware store and get a piece of solid aluminum stock and make some.....pretty easy to do, doesn't cost much either.

Same thing I do, except I like 1/2" aluminum tubing better. These seem to bend easier than solid stock, that way it doesn't mess up the mounts.

Another approach is to get 3/8 bolts, cut off the heads, grind the end round then drill it.

There is a fabricator who advertises in the very back of CIRCLE TRACK (I think the name is L.B.C.) they make and sell 3/8" steel and 1/2" steel and Alum. hood pins. They are about $6.00 a set including all the hardware (even the flipover style pins). They also Fab Tie-rod and trailing arm tubes at very reasonable prices. And they sell alot of Coleman Racing products at about 10-15% below Coleman's catalog prices.
I have bought a lot of their hood pins and have been pleased with them. My only word of warning is on their "Billet" pulleys that they re-sell, the price seemed too good to be true... so I bought.... All I can say is it was a fair price for cast, but I assumed when they called it "Billet", it would be ... oh well.
