A new deck, mine pretty sad. Electric brakes would be a nice addition. It may be time for a tire rack with a built in Storage Box. Shoot, I think it's time for a new trailer.

Jammin,

An air conditioner would be great for out here in the great American desert but that's probably NOT going to happen. Now that I've finally got an enclosed trailer, it's pretty hot in there during the summer months. I'd settle for building a pit cart for that one track we go to occationally that doesn't allow trailers in the pits. ;-}

I'd have to say a kick-*** stereo system!...for practicality I think I'm going to build a stand that I can mount tires on to groove them(old splindle and rotor on square tube ,maybe?)

bk, when I was down for a while, a while back, I built a kart to keep my tires, tools and fuel on....I put made some mounts in the trailer to keep it from rolling around. What I really like about it, nothing really gets dirty. It also gives me a place to keep 4 tires and all electic connections with lights and everything...took me forever to make, since i used it to play with over a winter..kept coming up with more ideas....he he..but I do recommend it to anyone that wants to make things much easier on themselves.

i have an 20' open trailer....with a cool tire rack...and a place for my 4wheeler on the front..but the only addition i think i want is some sort of cover thing...for those hot summer days...seeing as how there are no trees for shade in sight...ummmmmmm the back needs to be cut back off and "re-dovetailed" so i dont have to use 20' ramps...lol j/k. thats about all...check all wheel bearings.

I would like to see if mine still rolls! It hasnt been moved much since I sold my car a couple of years ago. Hopefully add a new jet chassis to it this winter. My little girl may get a little upset though the tire rack makes a great monkey bar!

what im really planning to do is make a door open on the backside of the toolbox and build a toolcart with everything on it to roll to the end of the trailer that way the everything should be right there and the trailer hopefully wont need straightened up for 2 hours after every race. Also has anyone used a powertank I have seen in the 4 wheel magazines. are they worth the money?

Since my trailer is an ex drag car tralier. my winter plans are mainly to add a tire rack, a winch, and a place for the fuel jugs. However my father mentioned just tonight that we need to have a designated place for a BBQ grill to cook up some hot dogs or bratwursts or something while at the track. I think he was right about that.

Jammin',

As per my usual habits, I sort of designed a pit cart a while back but haven't gotten around to building it yet. I even bought some cheap Harbor Freight wheels and tires for it and figured out homemade spindles, steering, etc. I haven't figured out how to secure it in the trailer yet, but how hard can that be? I'm looking at being laid up for a while for ankle surgery so now may be the time to do a full-on paper design. That and figure out how to build my carport/office enclosure before the permits expire, again! It's gonna be a l-o-n-g winter. :-}
