Need help on technical decision.

Currently running a 98 Shaw two link with a 68-72 chevelle stub with pinto spindles, chevelle lowers and steering components. I have multiple spares of all these parts.

Looking at buying new car and was looking at the metric stub cars and they seem to be cheaper in $$.

Will it be more cost effective to sell my chevelle stuff and buy new a new metric car and pieces?

Or buy a standard chassis such as DW, Shaw, or ?

Suggestions needed!!!

Running UMP with 350/406 engines with soft compound tires that bite hard. Short 1/4 to 3/8 mile tracks.

I am a chevelle believer. The wider, little heavier stub just seems to work better for me. The reason the metric is cheaper is because it is simply easier to find a stub. Some day, we are gonna be all out of stubs and we are just going to be fabricating them...just a matter of time.

What will them 68 to72 front clips bring in price i may have a front clip forsale and it has never been bent and two set of lower controlarms and the pitiman arm.

$150 for the stub with lowers and gearbox.
lower control arms about $30 each. 68-72 on the stubs and lower control arms from 70-72 monte and 64-72 chevelle or similar a body's
