This is a good opportunity to get a car that is not a cookie cutter copy. Jerry is innovative, willing to listen and help in any way he can. I am looking forward to driving the new eagle. Thanks for offering this deal to the average racer that normally has to pay for everything they get and still don't get what the "house car driver" is using. The cars have proven to have excellent forward and lateral bite. I am excited about this upcoming year with Eagle Chassis. Thanks again, Mike Trigg

All,

I have posted more details in the Sponsors Looking section.

I think I have answered the most important question of all there. HOW MUCH IS THIS GOING TO COST ME?

All,

I must be getting old! My brain is not in gear sometimes. My lovely bride of 26 years was reading through the list of sponsored teams and I got in trouble for omitting a name from the list, so here it is.

It is my pleasure to announce that ROBBIE DANIELS of Dallas, TX will join Jeff Walker and Jeffrey Guest driving a new Eagle III House Car for us. His car is on the jig now and he will recieve it by the end of the month. Robbie drove the very first Eagle chassis (Hobby Stock) to a point championship in 1996. Robbie had already accumulated enough points for the track championship that year and still had 6 races to go in the season. Robbie has been driving a Casten Chassis modified for his Dad the past 4 years and now, with the blessings of his Dad, R.O. Daniels, he will be driving for Eagle Chassis & Fabrication. A Special Thanks to R.O. Daniels from us all.

The Eagle cars have raced side by side with Robbie for years and we are proud to have him come on board with us. Robbie will run many major races for us in the up comming 2002 season at tracks all over the country.

Robbie has filled in driving our house cars from time to time and has won many races with them. Robbie has been very instrumental in the design and testing of ALL the Eagle Modifieds. We are fortunate to have his talents on our team.

Here's the best part. Robbie has been married to our daughter, Amanda for 6 years now. I do believe that makes him our Son-in-Law. Ahh, nothing like a family racing team.

Now you know why I got in trouble. As Paul Harvey would say: "Now you know the rest of the story". LOL

Welcome to the Eagle Racing Team, son.

Jerry & Peggy

All,

I would like to comment on the post of Mike Trigg. I met Mike last December, but had talked to him, many times before, on the phone. We became good friends immediately. Mike gives us a tremendous amount of input from a driver's stand point. Mike has been racing for many years and is one of the finest drivers I have ever seen. We are proud that he has chosen an Eagle III for his new "ride".

That said, I would like each of you to know that Mike is right about getting a car that isn't the same as the "House Car Driver's". That is true with many chassis builders.

ALL OF THE EAGLE CARS ARE THE SAME CHASSIS! My customers get the EXACT same car that my House Car Drivers have. Jeff, Jeffrey and Robbie get cars straight off the jigs, just like everyone else and use the EXACT same parts and setups as ALL of the Eagle cars have. I DO NOT use any "special" equipment or parts on the house cars. It would not be fair for someone to see one of my house cars, buy a new one, and it not be excatly what they saw. Mike knows this as a fact. What you see, is what you get!

The only difference in the cars is the rear suspensions that are chosen by the customer. Any "special parts" are purely at the customer's request. Our house cars are setup just like the "average" racer would do it.

Thank you Mike, for making that comment.

Jerry

I would like to welcome another team to the Eagle Family of Teams.

Aaron Downing of Ft. Walton Beach, FL.

Aaron is just finishing up his Rookie year racing mods. With the help of his Mom and Dad he is currently 12th in points. Aaron wants to, someday, drive on the NASCAR circuit. Some of the finest drivers in Winston Cup racing started on these old dirt tracks. Some of them, like Kenny Schrader, still get out here and race with us. We believe that dream will come true for Aaron and the Eagle Family will do everything it can to help him get there.

I would like to mention, also, that Aaron is just 16 years old and has already shown that he can compete with the best of them. The Downing Family is a true racing family. From motorcycles to circle track cars. We are excited to have them on board.

WELCOME to Arron and the Downing Family to our Eagle Family of Teams.

Jerry

Aaron,

OOPS!!!

My humble appologies, my young friend. I edited my post and corrected that for you.

When you get to be mine and your Dad's age, 1 year doesn't make much difference anymore, but I was 16 once (a VERRRRRY long time ago) and I remember how important it was. Just from talking to you yesterday, I can tell you have knowledge far beyond your age. I commend you for your inteligence and knowledge on race cars.

Again, my appologies.

Another team has joined us here at ECF. I am pleased to welcome Dennis and Arnie Betzer of Central City, IA. to the Eagle Family of Teams.

Dennis and Arnie are a father and son team that I have worked with some during this past season. Dennis drives and Arnie builds some real awesome motors. MOPARS, you guys.

I suppose they will have to be outcasts like me. The house car is a FORD.

Welcome to you both. I am really looking forward to the 2002 season and the experience and talent you will bring to our growing family of Eagles.

Jerry,
Let everyone know that you have provisions for bottled air in those non-bowtie cars. It has got to be that yall breathe different air than the rest of us. I wonder how Jeff drives with that sack on his helmet.

You know I'm joking. For those who havn't raced against the Eagle Ford, be aware that it can run with anyones chevy. Just had to rub you on this deal.

Mike,

In the weather we race in, I don't see how he can breathe in there. He says it keep the dirt out of his helment. That's a valid reason, considering the tracks we race on. You know that for sure. (And some people wonder if we know what a dry slick track is.) I know you and I do.

I would rather have the dust in my helment than not be able to breathe.

I don't mind the rubbing. Your Chevy has run BEHIND that little Ford before.(and in front) Maybe when you were in front, Jeff passed out from lack of air. LOL

It'a just a little motor!!

All,

There is another announcement that I would like to make.

Starting NOW, a new Eagle Chassis & Fabrication logo is being designed for our cars. The new logo will be to honor the people who have suffered in the attacks on America and on all cars who choose to have one. It will also be in support of our efforts the root out the cowards who commited these heinous acts and bring them to justice.

We will retain the original Flying Eagle with it's outstretched talons, however, now in one of his talons will be the Sword of Justice and in the other, a streaming American Flag.

I am going to make them in various sizes and will give them to anyone who requests them. It will take a little while to get this going, so give me some time. I will anounce when they are ready and ask Jammin to post a pic of them on my website with ordering instructions.

God Bless America.

Everyone,

Please check out what Jammin has put on my website for me. WWW.EAGLEMOD.COM I belive it says more about our sorrow and compassion than any words can express. When I saw it, I had tears in my eyes. THANKS SO MUCH, JAMMIN.

Aaron,

I use the inline type filter. They are available with paper or Stainless Steel elements. They come with paper elements, but I stock the SS ones as well. We like them very well.

Richard,

Thanks for the support. America needs our support. This is just a small way for me to show mine.

Arthur is currently serving our nation in the U.S. Navy. He will be racing his new Eagle III at Kings Speedway in Hanford, CA. He is currently on a "cruise", but will return in Jan. We look forward to his safe return to Home Port.

Let's not forget that Arthur is amoung the 1000's of men and women who are protecting our nation. Let's all pray for their safe return.

All,

I would like to invite all of the Eagle Sponsorship Teams to attend some special setup sessions that I will be holding here at my track. I am scheduling the dates during last week of Dec. and the months of Jan., Feb. and Mar. to help each team "dial in" their car before the season starts. The track will be open each day during those months for unlimited testing and adjustments. There will be no fee to use the track and I will have fuel and tires here as needed.

During these sessions, we will be able to change springs, shocks, setups, etc. to match individual driving styles. This way the cars will be "race ready" for opening night at your local track. The track will be open ONLY to Eagle race cars. All of the house cars will be here with their drivers to help the various teams get their cars "right". We will do some "shop time" with each team to show them things we have learned about scaling, ride heights, etc. and how they affect the cars.

I hope each of you will try and make time to attend at least one day. I will need to hear from each team that plans to attend and the dates that are best for them. I don't want to fill the track up with cars on any one day. I would like to limit it to 3-5 cars per day so we can spend plenty of time with each team. You can test as many days as you would like.

All,

From the way things are looking, I may be able to expand the sponsorship program to 30 cars. It will depend on how they are scheduled. So I need a little help from each of you to do that.

I would like each team in the Sponsorship Program to e-mail me with the approximate start date for their home tracks. If any special races are planned prior to "opening night", I will need to know those dates also. I want each of you to get your cars ON TIME or ahead of time so you will be ready to race.

There are very few of the original 25 sponsorships still available. I am trying to accomodate each team on an individual basis and fit a program to their specific needs. Just e-mail me or call me with this info. That way I can try to expand the program. Remember, these do not necessarily have to be complete cars. I will work with you all.

Thanks for the tremendous responses.

All,

Many of you have asked to spread your payments across different credit cards. That way you can spread out some of the cost of the car in monthly payments.

I have set up with PayPal to do this for you. The address is WWW.PAYPAL.COM

It doesn't cost anything to register with them, but there is a small fee to use their service. I hope this helps some of you.
