Bogged,

We have 4 cars that are based in the Lower Rio Grande Valley near McAllen, but we run as many places as we can. This year we have been to Willis, Crandall, Boyd, Kennedale, Greenville, Bells, Kileen, Waco and of course McAllen with the house cars. After tonight in McAllen, we will race in Pleasanton until they finish up, then back to McAllen for the Nationals. We will have 10-12 Eagles at the Nationals.

We have 4 cars coming off the jigs now. 2 going to Dallas,1 going to Corpus Christi and another for McAllen. I have 3 other cars running somewhere in North and East Texas, but I'm not sure where. I haven't heard from any of them this year.

We currently have orders for cars going to Kentucky, Illinois (3), Oregon (2), Colorado(2), Arizona, South Carolina, Iowa, Louisiana, Arkansas, California and Oklahoma. I need a bigger shop. LOL

We also have a car running on the United States Modified Touring Series. This car will be at Boone. We have 4 cars scheduled for the series next year.

So much for taking a Labor Day break, huh? LOL

By the way, are you from the great State of Texas, too?

Jerry

Bogged,

We were going to come race with you guys and you were rained out. Then you were coming down here and we rained out. I am beginning to suspect that you are carrying that rain around with you. LOL

I'll probably see you at I-37 or RGS next race. I'll look you up. Have you read the posts on the Eagle's Claw? I have a couple on the same chassis you run. Check it out.

I can difinitely say that the eagle cars are usually pretty quick in Mcallen and appear to be well built but light cars.

Bogged,

We are coming to I-37 Sat. if the weather holds. RGS won't race for 2 more weeks. Bobby Maupin is going to Boone to drive the #87 car for Robert Theser. I've heard Lawrence is running asphalt now. John Lawrence has asked us to bring the Thunder Class cars up to put on a show and possibly start an entry level mini stock class. We will bring 6-8 cars and try to put on a good show.

John and I have also been discussing a Mini-Mod Class and I am developing a chassis for that class, too. It will give the mini guys somewhere to go with the equipment they already have. They are identical to a full size modified, but with a 92" wheelbase and 4 cly. engines. I built 2 of them about 3 years ago and demonstrated them at RGS, but you know Robert Theser. Need I say more.

Let's get together Sat. See you there.

Jerry

BBRacer17,

Thanks for the kind words. We feel we have a very good chassis. They are light and strong. I see by your profile that you are close by, so we have raced together before, I'm sure.

I'm sure you know some of the guys that have Eagles. Robert Boyd (#2), Chris Carrol (#15), Jeffrey Guest (#42), and Jeff Walker (#40). Robbie Daniels (#24), Greg Smith (#23), Mike Trigg (#4)and Yancy Devine (#34) will get their new Eagle IIIs before the Nationals. You have probably raced these guys before, too.

Look us up next time we are at a race together. Good to hear from you.

Jerry
