Has anyone ever mounted the upper ball joint on the underside of the control arm and used a plate on top to hold it fast?
It might only lower the pivot 1/4 , is it worth it.
Never seen it done, before and was just wondering .

It wouldn't change the pivot points, all it would change is the angle of the A-frame.

I'll go you one better, I won't change anything.........roll center is from the pivot points of the ball joint and center of the shaft.........so no matter what the angle on the A frame the pivot points are what matter.........you can change those to get the front end better.......different ball joints or ream the spindles so the ball joints fit deeper........or change the height of the pivot shaft by redrilling the holes there...........but just moving the ball joint on the end of the A frame does nothing to the front end geometry........
