Last week in the feature I picked up a large mud clod in the RR wheel while running the top. I slowed up trying not to tear up the Car. on the last lap, the car I assume jumped into neutral. The tack said it hit 8300RPM before I let out of the gas. The Question is, what all should I check? I will be checking all of the rockers. Anybody else had failures after this?

Other than a concern for the rods, the valvetrain would be my concern due to the fact you ran it that high and then let off, supposedly the primary reason for Rod failure is due to let off at high RPM's, letting the piston hit the head because of valve float. I would definetly consider the money invested in said motor determining whether to tear or not.
