We are in the process of getting some new wheels....which way do you think we should go? (IMCA Stamped)

I've been using chrome Bart wheels and I can't complain about them at all. They seem to take a hit well and the lips are thick enough that I can beat them out and repair them when they get bent in. I tried some MRT wheels but they sure seemed to bend alot easier than the Barts.
Maybe they just got hit harder but I bent 2 or 3 wheel centers even when the hits didn't feel that hard.

I am going to try Aero this time around, I can get a spun Aero Wheel for the same price as Locally priced Bart's.

I personally like the Bassetts. I run 5 on 5 and 5/8" studs. If the studs are not perfect I have had troubles getting Barts on. The Bassetts holes are just a little larger and not just a stamped hole, like the Barts. They have a reinforced lip. check one out. I won't ever buy anything else.
Also, the way the Bassett beadlocks are made they don't seam to bend as easily as the Bart rim Lock. Easier to install tire on.

We run Aero's and Barts depending on availability and price, preferring the Aero's. We bend Bassett's too easily.

I have run almost every brand of wheels over the years, and I will only buy Aeros from now on, just my experience. The worst wheel I ever used, without a doubt is REAL brand wheels.

Aero or the new Basset. Both about the same price and quality.

Hey guys remember if that wheel doesn't bend it could be a lower control arm ,center link or a sector you ar replacing.I have had good luck with the aeros.

Basset for me!!! The beadlocks will just drop right on with no tools and sit in a lip between the ring and the rim.I think that they are a tad lighter than most also. For me i would rather take a shot to my rim and have it bent they a tierod or any steering componet. Just my 2 cents!!!

The outer part of the Bassett wheels are made by Aero, and then Bassett puts they're own center piece in them. So you can buy a Aero or Bassett and you get about the same thing. I personally like the Aero better.

Another vote for Bassett here! Two years with NO problems. Excellent quality control equates to no runout and perfect fit on the stud centers.

Real Racing Wheels we have been running them since they came out and we are also spon. by them. The wheel is light weight and has the best crome on i've seen for a steel wheel.www.dirt-racers.com/kugel

I PERSONALLY LIKE THE REAL AS WELL. AS YOU MENTIONED THE CHROME IS NICE (BETTER THAN A BART) ALSO WHEN WE RAN THE AERO WE HAD PROBLEMS WITH THAT POWDER COAT LOOKING DINGY AFTER A MONTH OF RUNNING OR SO. THE BASSETT WHEEL IS A COOL WHEEL BUT IT I HAD A COUPLE THAT BENT REAL EASY ON THE OUTSIDE BEAD.
TO SUM IT UP IF IT ROLLS I GUESS IT'S A GOOD ONE.

I have to agree with Billy Bob, The chrome on my Aero's didn't seem to last at all. Now they're a dingy gray, but still round!
