Ok, I hear all this talk about rear susp on this board, but I thought momentum was the most important thing, and that is done in the turns with the front suspension right? Has everyone given up on front suspension with Mod tires and just working with forward bite? That promotes big motors, I love to kick **** in the turns.

in my opinion the front is as if not more important as the rear. I spend countless hours this winter on front suspension geometry. the problem is that most racers and surprisingly alot of chassis builders. as you mentioned about forward bite, look at what most l/m have gone to, all most late models are about is forward bite, and for many that is their only saving grace. personally i don't know how alot of drivers drive the cars the way they are set-up.
if you are really interested in understanding on front suspension or racecars in general miliken has a very good book called race car vehical dynamics that is published by SAE, its definately not light reading but i would recommend it to anyone seriously interested in understanding racecars. If it means anything it has about 200 pages devoted to front suspension and about 50 pages for rear, not saying that the front is more important, just more complex.
