How much lead is everybody running on a three link?I have been told that some are running over an inch, that seems like something else is the problem,if you have to put that much in.I am only interested in two or three links.I would like to try with rear straight in car,but people say it won't work. Please explain.

I am currently running my rearend square in the car, as measured off the front ball joints. A 1/4" lead is enough to feel. 1" seems kind of excessive, and beyond the point of the benifit of running a little RR lead. I met a veteran racer at Oskaloosa, IA last fall, and he ran his car with a 1/2" of lead in a monoleaf/coilover car. You could actually see the rearend was not square by looking at it.

RR lead helps tighten the car off the corner, and it hurts your straight away speed.
