Jeff....lets be realistic here.....probably not. Simply because these guys campaign these cars for specific companies. When a chassis manufacturer builds a car, it is done on a jig for a reason...to build them all the same and to make something that a chassis can be built by quickly and easily. When you buy one of these cars, your simply buying a car that is an off the shelf product, sort of like a camshaft. You can buy a generic grind, but most of the time, a custom ground camshaft that is build specifically for your engine is going to be faster because it utilizes the engine use properly. Well..the chassis business is no different, they are going to sell you something that will work, but may not be optimized for your specific track or conditions. This is where a custom chassis manufacturer is better. If you can get someone to vere from their initial build for your, you have found a gold mine. Not many will. Being specific on a chassis for all the different scenarios is almost impossible. Each car is going to need something a little different for each track that you run on...

Just my opinion.

i used to work at harris auto racing from 93-97 and the chassis we built for the customer as well as the house cars, were built the exact same way. the same jigs, materials, moly or mild steel.

many of you think the house car is always so different from the regular out the door car. you fail to realize that THE BOLT ON COMPONENTS ARE NOT ALWAYS THE SAME but the chassis is. when several big name manufacturers like marsh wheels, afco, aero, basset, etc are sponsoring these house cars with wheels, tires, shocks, springs, etc that arent available to the public. sometimes these companies test special parts that they may or may not put on the market. THE BIGGEST KEY is the bolt on components and the setup as well, also many engine makers sponsor these cars with test engines . all the above plays a parts as to why a house car may run so much better than your average car.
