Who makes the most economical pull bar that
will give a reasonable result on a 3 link
rear suspension?

I am currantly using the AFCO unit. It is not very economical, and I dont really like it. I think Speedway Motors sells a good inexpensive one. If I were to do it over again, I might look into something like that. Cause the Afco uses that plastic piston, along with this weird thing that uses 3 slots and this star looking plate that fits in these slots. (good place for a bind to start, if u ask me), and I dont think any of the others do. Just like the Afco eliminators, that use the plastic (they call it something else) I call it plastic. I know when I switched to Howe eliminators, wich use bronze bushing and a 'rounded' piston to eliminate binding. I noticed a BIG difference in the way the car handled. The Afco's were sticking(binding) sometimes. My car would handle in one corner and be junk in the next. Anyway Speedway, or D&M I heard makes a good double spring pull bar. Check these out.

Thats what I thought to. I have eliminators
with the plastic also and have to ream them
with a brake hone. I didn't know there was
another type. Do you know the number to D&M?
A lot of those fancy gadgets have nothing
going for them but a nice price tag. I like to keep it simple as much as possible. K.I.S.S.

Hey mod 93 do you have problems with that allen bolt loosening? I do and I've tried everything including locktite. I'm thinking of trying the one from D&M but then I gotta get extra springs. Any ideas?
thanks

Strokin3 get rid of the afco sliders and get some Howe...You will notice a difference...And you wont have to keep reeming them out all the time...KK17 no I have not had a problem with the allen bolt..YET..I have only run this thing 5 or 6 times...I had too take it apart after the 3rd race...that's when I discovered the funky design...I have money tied up in mine soo im gonna just use mine for awhile, keep taking it apart making sure it's moving free...Im running the progressive rate spring...I have found numbers for D$M. they may bee too old though...I didnt see them in any new Circle Track mags.. orders. 800-233-0571 tech. 806-935-2448.
