Has anybody tried running a 2-link swing-arm on the left and a standard 2-link with the spring on top of the rearend on the right? I am currently running both spring on top. This seems to make the car feel more free. My opinion is that swing-arm on left will help load left rear with out binding the pull bars movement.

I have seen this in a couple of mods, but just the opposite, 2-link left , swingarm right.I would think the way your talking about it would be better to go 2-link swingarm, I have run that and they are a nice all-around nuetral set-up.

I was thinking about the 2-link Swing-arm on both sides also but it the trend is to keep the RR spring on top of rearend. Have you seen the new Wally-Bilt Mod? (at Des Moines Auction) It had a 4-link with the LR spring behind the axle and the RR on top. It seems that keeping the RR spring on top keeps the car more nuetral coming into corner.

Know a couple guys who run R-rear on top and they like it, but they also haveL-rear in front. I think if you run both on top it would be about the same as 2-link swingarm.Just my opinion, anyone else???

If you are running a three link with the springs on top of the rear or a swing arm neither would load or unload the rear end under acceleration or deceleration. So I would think whichever was easier to put on your car would work the same. Atleast thats how it seems to me.
