I've been running methanol with a double pumper Holley set up for it. The fuel pump is a six valve rebuildable job. After the fuel pump ther's a split that the pressure gauge is run off of. There's no regulator and no return line to the cell. It was this way when I got it.
What kind of fuel pump is this and can I run it successfully going straight into the carb without a fuel log or regulator?
Thanks,
Dman

what kind of pressure do you have...you don't want to blow away the neetle and seat and have fuel coming out the vent tube.

About 8 to 9 pounds. No sign of deprivation has been noticed. I'm running a big 3/8 track.
Any help is appreciated!

This sounds like a holley pump. The internal springs are what regulates the pressure.I have used this setup before. It is some times hard to get large needle and seat to seal with this much pressure. You can use viton seats but they need to be changed every year.
