can any one give me a place to go to get info on the head and neck device been thinking of it and trying to find some info since 24 hours of daytona.
although they say it would not have helped in todays last lap crash it may be worth looking in to

Its time its looked at that is for sure, one death is to much, four in a few months,It has to be considered on tracks of one mile or more at least!

I dont know if yall already use them or not, but just the use of a simple neck brace will help tramindously. Matter of fact, one track that I race at REQUIRES that everyone must have a neck brace to race there, and Fire retardant gloves. I have used a neck brace since I drove my first laps, so I know no different, it doesn't bother me. Look at Mike Skinner, he uses a simpson neck brace. I would personally probably not want to use the HANS device, because it does appear bulky and could possibly hinder exit in a hurry, and it already takes too long for me to exit my car quick. I sometimes at home see how long it takes me to get out, with all my equipment on.

I agree about using neck brace my son has worn one since go karts it does not bother
him at all. And it sure don't hurt a thing.
