I really had nothing in mind I just thought some those budget racers would like to share the're ideas.Like maybe a stagger gauge like the ones in the race catalog.Or a leak down tester.

How about a tubing bender? Or how to convert pipe dies to tubing dies. I can't think of a good reason why pipe benders are so cheap ($120) compaired to tubing benders ($1500)

Parts Mart? Dont you see it on the forum? Engine/Components for sale? Race Cars For Sale? Doesn't that fall under one of those categories?

How about a logoff option somewhere on the main page that clears any site related settings like cookies?

Well, the log off will not erase the cookies, but can log you out of the forum if you like. The forum automatically logs you off in 10 minutes. But I can put a manual log off on here if you guys want. It will not erase the cookies, just log you out of the forum. To erase the cookies, you must go thru the the preferences option.

I'm just looking for an easy way to get back in when I experience problems. I'm still receiving the error "You must go thru the front of the site....."

Anybody else get this consistently?

Well, what you probably want to to is clear your cache on your computer. If your cache is full(temporary internet files) then you need to clear those so your computer can save the cookie. If the cookie doesnt have enough room to be saved, it will be hard for you to get back in. It is just as easy to go thru the front page at www.thedirtforum.com

The software on the site that was available for download is now available online to do the same calculations that the software did. Now you don't have to download it. As far as Earl Parker's stuff....he has some nice stuff, but they are all in spread sheet form. Not scripted for use on the net. We want to keep the downloads to a minimum for everyone. Why should you have to download something we can code directly within a page? You shouldn't. Keep the ideas coming, we will be adding more and more as we go along. I hope everyone is enjoying them.

What am I missing here. When I goto main page, I see the Ads. and also the calculators. However, where I try to select them, It says, goto bottom and log in first. When I log in I goto index3, and can't find my way to the calculators from here. How do you access the sites on the main page once you've logged in.

You can not bookmark this site and come in this way. You must go thru the front of the forum thru www.thedirtforum.com and log in. If you do this, you will get to all the topics.

Jammin, I think you misunderstood me. Ok everytime I come to the site, I goto www.thedirtforum.com. Then I must log in to view anything else. Well no matter how I log in, wether it selecting "ministock" and logging in, or going to the bottom and selecting "log in", i got straight to index3 which has all the topics listed. At this point, I see no link to caculators or ads, and I don't know how to get back to look at the main page. I can log in and go back to the main page, but then I have to log in again and .....over and over. I know its simple, but I don't know what I doing wrong.

First of all, to see the tool box, you must have your resolution on your computer set at 800X600. When that is taken care of, you should see a red tool box on the top of the forum. Click that tool box and it will take you to the calculators. If you want to go back to the forum from that page, there are links or you can just click on the Dirt Forum Logo at the top of the page and it will take you back to the forum. To go back to the front page(www.thedirtforum.com) just click on Sponsors. Is this what your looking for?

LOL YES. I clicked on everything on this page except for the toolbox icon. For some reason, I thought I had to go back to the front page where the tools where listed. Sorry.
