I've heard that the Caprice front ends are weak and prone to brakage, espacially the tie rods and conecting links. Is this a true statment, if so can this problem be easily fixed?

There was and may still be a caprice running in the boone iowa area and was pretty competitive. Never seen the car have anything break in the front end compared to the small malibu and monte cars.

The Jet cars are built with the big metric front which would be the same as the 81 and newer Caprice,I think.I dont know how it could be weaker than any other front.
