Was wondering if someone could help me out with this. Purchased a car that was set up for motor set back to line up number one plug w/center of ball-joint. Track eliminated class and car will fit into class that does not allow setback motor must be in stock location. My question is what is the easiest way to accomplish this. If needed could post pictures to show how car is currently set-up. Any help would be greatly appreciated. Thanks in advance.

I built two small pods out of 1 1/2" tubing which I welded to the crossmamber. (You may have to do a bit of re-construction on your where they'd made room for the fuel pump.)They are set 22 1/2 inches apart, measuering from center to center. A level line from the tops of them will be 11" above the crossmsmber. The tops of these had a nut welded to a washer (both 1/2") and welded to the tubing. Buy yourself a couple of solid steel motor mounts and (I used) the original trans crossmamber. Be sure to fab yourself a solid mount there too! Good luck!
