i am wanting to run polly locks on 305 heads with pressed studs and i am running stock longslot rockers and i getting lunati polly locks and i dont know what thread size to get , 3\8 or 7\16 . can anyone help?

They'll be 3/8" size. The 7/16" size are for the heavy duty racing applications as well as for Big Blocks and such.

anyone ever just take old 350 rod cap nuts and double nut the stock ones? i've done that, its cheap and it works.......ford5

ford5 is right, you don't neccesarily have to have poly locks. i've bought new "pinch" nuts and they've worked fine, even with a solid lifter cam.
