Here is a question. If leaf springs are better then why does 99% of pourpose built racecars have some type of coils? Just a thought.

It's easy to get forward bite with leaf springs, and they are very forgiving if your setup is off a little. Coils last longer, and are better if you have plenty of adjustments, (and know how to adjust them), and most street stock cars don't have those adjustments. JMO
