I run limited modified, which is a GM metric frame, 7 1/2" rear-end. What do I need, where do I get it, and how do I install disc brakes? Thanks

probally the easiest route would be buy a set of clamp on caliper brackets, a couple of gm metric calipers and a set of rotars and hats from speedway or another parts distributer.once you have the stock drums and backing plates removed you can slide your rotars onto your axle hub, put a couple of lug nuts on to hold it in place, then put a caliper on the rotar at approx. 1 oclock postion, attach caliper bracket to housing and bolt caliper to bracket. once every thing looks good tack weld the caliper bracket to the housing in a couple spots and you should be good to go. before you weld anything solid be sure and check wheel to caliper clearance. hope this helps you some!!!

Can't run rotors and hats on a S.I.M.S. Limited Mod. G.M. front metric calipers with hoses( tie strap the hoses to the resr housing and connect the steel line to them), a weld on bracket from Day Motorsports and 78-79 Firebird rear rotors. The Zone has the best price on the rotors.

Hope this helps.

What type car do you have? I know where a rear end for a metric car is with rear disc...I think he wants $300 for the whole thing..
