I am a new racer and am looking for suggestions on what final drive to use. I am racing a hobby stock on a 1/4 mile track with moderate banking. I would like to run in the 6000 to 6200 RPM range. I will be running a 350 turbo either in first or second. I am thinking of either 2.75 or 4.56 which comes out to roughly 6.90. Is this a good final drive, should I go lower or higher? Thanks for any input ya'll might have.

OK, you have a 2.52 first gear, and a 1.52 second gear in that turbo 350. Multiply either with your rear gear gives you your final drive. I'm thinkin between 7.50 to 8.00 final should work for a 1/4 mile bullring. This is with a 88" tire.
