Hello group,
Building a street stock this year and was wondering about my latest trade (A predator Carb.) I am told by a couple people that once you run a Predator Carb you will never run anything else, but also I have heard opposite. What is your all's thoughts?
P.S. As you probably figured our street stock rules are outlaw, the track is 1/4 mile hi-banked, usually dry slick.
Thanks Guys!!

The truth is, Predator carbs are not made for oval track racing at all. We've never heard of any dyno test that has shown them to actually increase power over a traditional oval track carb. In fact, just the opposite.
IMHO, once you run a Predator, you'll never try one again....

Many top builders have tried them and none that I know of have stuck with them.

Try it if you wish, but I think you may find the same results.

hello, don,t believe everything you here especially in racing.the best thing i can tell you is to do cfm test on your engine.bigger is not always better.tuning your engine for optimum h.p.and torque with a cfm test you will find don,t always need a big carb.keep your rpm,s to the torque band of your cam be smooth as possible.
