Iv been looking at their "claimer"short block,355 cid for my factory stock,we run torque tubes, but bottem end has to be stock, oem intakes, and we run double pumpers, roller rockers, all them goodies,my questions is,has anybody ran their short blocks, and what did you think about them?can they build good power,i will be putting 461 double hump,202 valves, and a cam somewere between .550 to a .575 lift cam,the .575 would be the most,i would make it my spare motor, the price is cheaper than what i can have rods, crank that are oem fixed up,lightend, and balanced, and then have my block work down,my machine shop i would spend bout 1700 bucks,im just wanting to know if thier claimer short blocks are good,as if i were to need a spare motor, that spare motor became the primary motor!!!! thanks for the feedback.

they are pretty good but i think you should find a new machine shop. basicly they are scat cranks reconditioned rods and cast pistons and you have to upgrade to the clevite bearsing and good rings you could ebay a motor together with better parts for cheaper
