Has anyone raced a set of the track bite springs or somthing simalar to them? They have a half leaf on top only on the front half.I read a article several years ago in circle track mag about them . Just wondering if any one has tried them and what you thought about them.

I did something similar to a bomber, I took a Chrysler spring and took one of the shorter springs and turned it around backwards into the chevy spring. virtually undetectable, yet, the forward bite was substantially improved.

I called the folks at track bite, and I really didnt get a sense that they knew what the heck they were talking about. They couldnt give me a rate on the springs, just said it was what i needed, without asking may questions. Plus, they were pretty pricy. Ive moved the second leaf all the ways up to right under the mounting pount on the main leaf, and redrilled the hole for the locating pin. Bite was dramatically better, so was spring life (loss of arch reduced). Dont forget to disassemble leafs and polish in between them, then grease them up good and wrap in duct tape. They really do work better that way.

Anybody got a pic of this? I'm not sure I understand. Do you simply take out the center bolt, slide the second longest spring forward, and redrill?
