Are there any books available that deal specifically with building a Metric car?

I would think them fellas that run IMCA hobby and stock would help ya out. Most of them run Metric chassis. Steve Smith has alot of good info in his books, too.

You're right about having a lot of good info here. I got Smiths book on street stock chasis tech, but haven't got totaly through it yet. I'm just trying to get as much info as possible before I start this project.

There's a guy who wrote an E-book (it's in Adobe .pdf format) that you can download for $49 from his web site. It deals mostly with the metric chassis and Street Stocks. The address is:

Have you downloaded this information? It sounds like it would be pretty good. It says there is a discount till midnight. Does it always say that, or is it for real?

Pay no attention to the expiration, it's ALWAYS $49. Yes, I downloaded it, and there is quite a bit of info in there that is good. You can also buy it from the same guy on eBay, search for "Wissota" and it will pop up.

I've been seeing this same thing on eBay lately for $24.
