I went down to the local racers hardware and ordered some new leaf springs for the hot rod the big question was arch, I was asked if i wanted 5in arch or a 6.5 in i believe i went with the 6.5 in arch. Was this a good thing or not i didnt know any help with this matter would be greatly appreciated. Eddie

Having more arch will make the car ride slightly higher. It won't be 1 1/2", but you could expect at least half that. Having more arch will give you more travel, but that's going to depend on a lot of other issues as well. If you're happy with the ride height after there installed I'd say "great"...other than that you might want to look at using one with less arch. Higher arch springs tend to settle more as well.

Dixon should i run the extended leaf spring shackles with these springs or stay with the stock ones in the rear? Eddie
