The points race is over for the season and open-comp. has started. Last week 2 guys were running wings on their cars and just could not catch them. After studying 1 of the cars, I fab. 1 up for mine. The wing is 21" tall by 46" wide and on the LR quarter. My ? is: how bad (if any) will the car push and should I losen the car before raceday or as the nite progresses? Or would running a lighter spring on the RR help? THANKS TERP

I would suggest cutting the wing down in size if the car pushes....

sprint car wing on the roof or plexiglass board on the right rear. loosen it up. we had a 4cylinder run what ya brung race this weekend and 2 of our racers ran sprint wings and one ran a board similar to yours. all of the cars have sheetmetal latemodel bodies on them. the 2 with the wings qualified 1st and 3rd with times of 14.43 and 14.91 on a 1/5 mile semibanked clay track. they didnt seem to push too bad but they were runnin first and second til one fell out with steering problems and the other one won the race. both ford mustangs.it will make all the diffrence
